AFAIK the PBR upgrades are just Territory/BF XR6T calipers and rotors. FTG Auto Salvage have a front upgrade kit for around 1k.

I've got all the parts I need for mine front and rear, sourced for under $500 second hand, so it's worth looking around.

you will not need a mod plate as they are factory issue or option on some models
so they are compliant and safety tested to all state and national rules and regs

Justin its also worth noting there were two options on these brakes - Ba premium brakes were 325mm Twin Piston
Standards were 298

BF turbos and XR8's run the 322mm kit
Standards are still 298

So the ba premo's are slightly larger and they are the kit that is 2.5 grand usually referred to as the pbr upgrade kit

The BF/Territory kit that FPV sell are alot cheaper at about 650 new with pads and slotted rotors

There is a heap of info on brake upgrades for the BA on bseries.com.au

Many say it's the best mod they have done to their car, and there are many options that are a lot less then 2.5k.

i have the BA premium brakes on mine and think its a huge improvement over standard with little fade
Now just time to upgrade the rears to BF XRT XR8 Terry Spec

Thanks Nicko for clarifying that - the FTG kit at $650 with calipers, slotted rotors and pads certainly is great value!

Is this to fit e-series? I have brand new BA twin calipers waiting for mountings when I get it all worked out. The terry has awesome brakes and I want to replicate this on the old EF fairmont. And of course 17 inch rims to find.

Damn AU, BA can't I achieve this for under $2g???
The car is not worth more than $6k why would I spend $2k for super brakes.
must do some more searching for brake projects since I last looked.
