I thought that price is OK, given that shortened shocks x4
are included.....
(What brand shocks are they?.. Ultima? Monroe GT Sport ?)

For 4 springs and 4 shortened shocks $550 is a good price IMO. The springs are 200-250, front pair of shocks 200, rear 100.
Jump on ebay and have a look whats on there.
But yeh do you know what brand?

Thats a good price depending on what type of shocks, are they actual shortened shocks or just suited for lowered springs. In the case of monroe the standard shocks and lowered are the same part number, they will work with lows but nothing lower.

Firstly the ultra low springs wont work with the standard GT gas shocks as there wont be any suspension travel, there will be some with the super lows but very little. If you do install the GT gas shocks you will notice a very hard ride as you will more than likely be riding on the shocks bump stops. This would be why the package is so cheap.

In the GT gas range the lowered is the same as the standars shock. You can look it up in the Monroe website. There is the GT gas sprts range which is a shortened shock but have heard some bad news about them. They are around $370 for a full set on ebay.

As Joolz has mentioned, check what shocks are on offer:

"Monroe GT Gas" - No good for the springs you have selected

"Monroe GT Sport" - Better suited to the s'low, but these are a
new product and I haven't heard much about them.

"Ultima" - make a suitable shock, but my experience of these
was a harsh ride on s'lows. (maybe s'low springs are just harsh anyway?)
