You will probably find that the shocks are longer then the stock ones. Or your stock ones were stuffed and sagging.

But I know that some kyb and pedder shocks are longer then stock ones on different cars.
May be the same with konis. But they were only about half a inch longer.

You may find it is because your old shocks were sagging about half a inch and the new ones are harder so not sagging and they are a little longer.

Koni red's dont have gas.

What height springs do you have? did you buy the shortened shocks or the std height shocks?

shocks dont effect the ride height. They dont excert sufficient 'spring' force to lift the weight of a car. Try pushing the rod into the body and your will see what I mean.
