hey guys i think my t5 box is on its way out [again]
was going to go auto due to cost, tuff c9 with converter , to handle 600 hp+ ect about $4500 fitted
by me, but lately thinkin 6 speed would be nice
what options do i have for this sort of cash,bf f6 ,6 cogger or something else
any ideas would be great
car has about 400 hp at fly but have resisted uppin the boost due to box , will bf 6 speed handle 500hp.

I spent $6400 on my T56 conversion. You could do it a little cheaper if you make your own crossmember and adapt a BA pedal instead of buying from Mal Wood.

I've only done 1000kms so far. Probably 240rwkw.

BA XR6T's run up to 400rwkw without any issues from what I can find.

When you replace the uni's, contact Hardy Spicer, and ask for DANA SPICER universals, they come in a red and white box. Ask for p/n K5.13XRP or 5.625X . These are non-greaseable unis, with a solid cross. Good for big power, but you need to keep any eye on them, as they can't be lubed. Should be good for 10000k's easy, then just pop the caps off, add some grease, and reassemble. Provided nothing is worn, etc.
Good luck. 8-)
