Location: ADELAIDE, KLEMZIG

hey everyone, i have a 96 ef auto and i want to get the box done.
I live in Adelaide SA, so where is the best places to get the auto box re-built.
This is what i want done: -the auto box to be totally re-built and at the same time a Stage 2 shift kit to be installed.

Please help me a.s.a.p. out by mentioning a cuople of good places that are able to do both, (the re-buliding and the installing of the shift kit). Also don't mention KPM motorsport as i have already got a quote from them, i just want to see what everyone else says.
thanks for helping me out everyone.

Cheers

mv automatics blackwood. i've dealt with them and found them good. mike is known for good performance boxes for holdens, nissans and toyotas, and is great to deal with.

also heard good things abou drw automatics lonsdale and bruce cussans on marrion road.

do you really wanna spend over 2k to get the box rebuilt?

if you get quotes less than that, than i would be questioning what they class as a "rebuild"

ah i see, you work in a trans shop, so you obviously know exactly whats needed and what the costs are.

well just because you can fully rebuild a box for less than 2k, doesnt mean thats the standard price at every workshop. Ive been looking into this for awhile now, and NOBODY wants to fully rebuild the box for less than 2k. So forgive me if i cant get prices as good as you offer, but was only letting the bloke know what prices to expect !!

the only prices ive seen for less than 2k was a reconditioned gearbox where they only replace whats necessary, and prices were a minimum $900 and upwards depending what was needed
