Its far easier to buy them already done. I looked into the bushes on their own and the complete control arms were only about $20-$30 dearer a set. For both your upper and lower arms it will set you back $200 plus postage.

take the bushes (if you have them) to pedders and just leave them there for an hour.

if not a local engineering firm could do it for you. i rang pedders today, the guy seemed ok (all be it was a little abrupt talking to me about it all) but i will still take the stuff in there and get them to have a crack.

Or just buy a cheap press from supercheap and do all the bushes. Its a handy piece of equipment to have.

No secrets for fitting, just raise the car from the chassis and unbolt. Just take note on the orientation of the arms as they come out. Best thing is with pre done arms is no driving back and forth in borrowed car having bushes pressesd in.

nolathane sell a complete set so arm with bushes already pressed in. I did both side's of my old EA S-pac by myself its just 4 bolts i think (memory isn't co-operating today).

All up cost me about $180 for the parts and took 30mins to do once we got the correct parts.

Be warned some EA's were fitted with shorter rear control arms. These were only fitted to s-pacs as far as i know (not all s-pacs were fitted as well).

Basically these cars were the test pilots to the EB XR6, you might call them the EA XR6.

My car as mentioned had these and they ARE NOT listed in ANY catalogues online or otherwise, we had to ring nolathane to get some which arrived in about three days. Went to Bursons for parts btw.

My car was a nov 1989 built EA s-pac manual so you may have them i suggest measuring length before buying parts.
