Gday,

Im planning on putting a 9"LSD in my XB and later on putting in a toploader. Just after some rpm figures for a C4 (std stall) in 3rd at 100km with a 3.5, 3.7 and 3.9 diff and the same for a toploader in 4th.

Nobody??? Ok how about the ratios of the C4 and the Toploader so I can work it out on the calculator box?

Here is the formula to working out speed verses diff ratio's or gear ratio's. You need to know the total outside diameter of the rear tyres for to work. The measurement is in inches. Here is a photo to help you work it out.

If you think about it it doesn't make any difference if it is the top loader or C4 as top gear in both are 1 to 1 :lol:

And then with autos you gotta take into account the convertor slip. About 3% for std ones and more for modified ones.
