hey all, my ef's been sitting in the carport for several months now without use and i've noticed that the front rotors are all rusted over. i imagine this is a bad thing but will the brakes work? will the rust just come off once i start using it? or will i be better off not driving?! cheers

YEH THEY ALL DO TAKE FOR A DRIVE AN APLLY BRAKES FEW TIMES AND IT WILL DISAPAR, MINE DO SAME AFTER SITTING FOR A WEEKEND , AFTER RAIN AN NON DRIVIN

the rust will jus come right off. shouldnt be too bad providing its jus surface rust. give it a quick buff with some fine sand paper and you should be fine. dont scub the absolute s**t out of them or you will make your rotor uneven which will cause dramas!!!
if your unsure take it to ur local brake spec. and have the rotors machined

its only surface rust, few brake applications and it will come straight off.
