Hi guys

Converted my fairmont ghia EF to a manual a while ago, except it has a few problems.

The gear changes have now become clunky and when i change gears its just feels ROUGH, gear oil was put into it ( the hard stuff for manuals and not the recommended DEXTRON 3 ) Could that be the problem? or is my clutch going?

and second, my car runs like s**t in the mornings, It stalls until it gets warm! then it runs fine!, Whats the problem with it!? Cheers!

If the box feels rough, its probably rooted. Is it the clutch as well.

As for running like crap, maybe reset your ecu after cleaning your isc.

did you change your computer when you changed boxes?

It's probably due to running the gear oil, and not the recommended Dex3!
