hi,
was just browsing through ebay and came across a shift kit to fit an ef falcon. all the feedback was positive and the seller claims it wont hurt the gearbox. i was wondering if any one has got this product and what do they think of it? or what have people hraed about it.

i made a shift kit my self, cost me under $10!!!
theres a doco on here somewhere how to do it, but it only covers EF's

i only use mine in modderation, so i only use it if i go drag racing or something...

hahahah that shift kit is gold!!! I just made one for dads slightly slipping auto and one for my cous! Sweet as.

I personally wouldnt fit one, the proper shift kits with modified valve bodies maybe, but not the resistor mods.

My auto worked fine until i fitted one of those, then after only a few hard runs, it didnt wanna drop back down low enough gears under WOT.

For example, before the shift kit.....sitting on 60 you would plant it and it would drop to first, but after abusing the box with the shift kit it would only drop to 2nd, coincidence.... maybe, but wouldnt fit it again, my 2c

Hmmm i know many poeple running computer related shift kits.. No issues what so ever.. all it does it bring solenoid 5 pressure up. Cant really cause harm, Should be the opposite.
