So I'm trying to fit a quick shift to my au3 xr8

Removed console and there is a plastic cover with 4 lugs.
Haven't jacked it up yet but
Is this bolted up under the car?

kangaroos and radiators are a bad mixture

get under the car, remove the gearbox cross member, bet the box and engine sag on the engine mounts, get yourself back in the car, this should give you just enough room to get the new shifter in. failing that, your going to need to drop the box or attack it from underneath. I've done it from inside and underneath using this method. you may need someone with smaller arms or a second elbow to work some of the angles out though

I have a car.
