ok yes, dont get me wrong it looks amazing!!! but for me i dont think its practical... if i had that i would want it purely as a show/weekend car haha just saying??

and being 17 the money thing is kind of an issue, so if i had to go to the trouble of getting all this extra gear id have to get out a loan :?

wow 17 and own a bf xr6, either u started an electrical apprenticeship really young or your old man has alot of money

chopping springs will void ur insurance quicker than haveing a v8 on ur p's...

with the ride height, check out my BA in my gallery i had just lows in the back and super super lows in the front, it all depends on the car, i went through 4 sets of springs to get the right height...

thats a good way to look at things mate, you'll get alot or respect and go far with that attitude

with the superlows all round, it will most likely sit very nicely, but with kings they may go higher or lower than they are suposed to... you may end up buying another set to re-adjust the height...

king springs can be an absolute b**ch, i work at repco so iv seen alot of sets come back coz they didnt go to where they should...

Hey Baxtc1 thats an XR ute isnt it? So those springs you got are kings low which drop it about 30-35mm correct? Also did you have to get a camber kit, as for some BA BF XR models ive heard you dont have too for the front. Also did you get new shocks as well?

Basically Im trying to get some kings for my BA Sedan but hoping that I dont have to get the camber kit and shocks for the front, ive also heard that the rears should require nothing more than a alignment. So just want to replace stock springs with kings low 30mm all around without everything else except for a front and back wheel alignment of course. I have 20" rims if thats anything to consider.

Can anyone please help me out with this! Thanks!!

G'day Mr. Xpressionz, mine is an XL SE, not an XR, i have just been adding a few bits and pieces along the way, among them being XR skirts and rear bumper. I have also put in Monroe GT Sport lowered shocks front and rear. The rear springs were from an ebay seller, on line performance, they are John Bowe springs, supposed to lower approximately 50mm, but mine went down 60. I have not had the alignment done yet, have to wait until tomorrow for that.
Looking at my upper control arm brackets, i should have plenty of room for adjustment on the front ones, but I am not so sure about the rear ones, will have to wait and see. Can't wait to drive it and see how she feels, though i did take for a small drive yesterday to take a couple of pics. :)

Had the alignment done yesterday, apparently the left side is very close, but right hand side still needs more shims. The upper control arm front brackets are still ok for adjustment, but the rear ones, particularly on the right don't have enough room. I asked them about the XR brackets, but they didn't think they would be any better, so I have ordered a set from an ebay seller, hopefully they will arrive before the next alignment, this one free of charge as they didn't have time to complete it the first time.
Handling diference is amazing. :D
