Hello,
I recently purchased an EF Fairmont, and seem to have some slop in the steering column, between the uni that goes onto the rack, and the intermediate shaft that connects to the other uni joint..
My question is, Had anyone else had this issue, and knows a way to fix it?? Or do i just need to fit another column?
Thanks
David

Thanks for the reply, I removed the shaft the same day to pull the extractors off, and saw the pin flogged out in it,. and got a shaft from a wrecker.. he said he'd never seen one flogged out before, in the end i went and got my worn out one to show him, he wouldnt beleive me..
But, shes all nice with the 2nd hand shaft now!!

Thanks
David
