speedo (white wire on mine - eb) ignition power and earth. I'll be using the power and ground from the clock/trip computer as i'll be putting the device in behind there.

i'm doing this install as we speak but actually need a bit of advice myself. the device needs to be set on +5v. to do this it needs to be on lk2. if you have a jaycar unit, how is yours set up. my brother did mine as thats not really my area. i have 2 jumpers accross a couple of pins but don't know if they're right.

any idea what i'm on about?

6 and v8 cluster wires are the same. speedo wire is the white one. mine is in and working but yet to determine correct speed until i can borrow my brothers gps.

ended up with links on lk2 and lk3. used power and earth from trip computer or clock whichever you have.

sorry, just realised you have a ef. in the tech doco's on this site look up trip computer install for ef. in that doco it should tell you somewhere which wire is the speedo wire. should also give you pics and a suitable power and earth. hope this helps.

you should have instructions with the corrector. these tell you exactly what to do. if you have a flashing led but no speedo try putting the link onto lk3. if its already on lk3 then try lk4. i'm no electrics guru by any means but though the instructions are probably not the clearest i could follow them and its all working sweet.

If the car is going into limp mode, you've obviously cut the speedo signal between the sender and ECU.
So either you've made a mistake with the wiring, or the speedo corrector is faulty.
