i recently converted my FE LTD to a 302 v8 with a c10 auto, all's good except the correct speed on the dash speedo, i've used the original electric transducer for the c10 but registers at least 10KPH too slow, swaped the transducer from the original BW40, used the c10 speedo gear (BW40 drive won't work 'cause it's a reverse direction drive) speed at at dash speedo is about 3 to 4 KPH slower than reality,''''getting closer''''.

Q? does anyone know of or have a speedo drive gear teeth/colour code list?

the LTD lsd/diff is a 2.77 ratio, the v8/c10 was fitted to a 2.92 lsd diff, it's impractical to swap diff centres as the LTD diff is a known quality...ty..tom

-3/4Km/H is generally the buffer most cars have on their speedo... To be honest my motorcycle registers -10Km/H at 100 and I have learnt to live with it, I'd be pretty happy with -3 lol.
