Spring prices are generally the same between superlow, low, standard and raised.

Prices only vary between brands and resellers.

just a piece of friendly advice. if you are after superlow then steer clear of pedders. they're about 10 - 15 mm higher than the kings superlows i fitted but both claimed 50mm. not only my experience either.

I've fitted them and was unhappy with the difference in height front to back. 10mm difference. It shows bad.

I have a similar issue, though i've got 70L of Petrol, 85L of LPG and 50KG of MDF :)

I also put it down to the V8 front king springs being a bit higher than they should be. I'm tempted to go back to 4L springs on the front.

Funny you mention that, I was thinking that they put V8 springs on the front of mine instead of I6 ones which was why the front sat too high. Doesnt matter now though cause I sold it. I wont get Kings again.

Going by RTA records, a V8 Fairmont Ghia is only 25KG heavier than a 4L Fairmont Ghia. So i dont really see why different springs would be needed up front.

I might grab a set of King 4L lows and see what happens, either that or get the rears re-set.

Ive sold MANY sets of king springs, and never had any complaints :)

It was on my EF GLi that I had the Kings superlows fitted. The guys that did it said wait for them to settle then come back. I waited nearly 4 weeks came back and it was exactly the same. They said they would cut the front springs but I didnt want any part of that. I left it 10mm difference and eventually sold the car. I looked up part numbers and the V8 versus staight 6 srping set has a different part number. I thought they may have mixed them up.
