Just a quick question, where in sydney is the best place to get a hi stall for my fairlane ghia? I want around a 3000rpm converter?
Mainly asking the guys who have converters in there 5L's. And if they still have there lock up clutch And any problems they have had?

I WOULD MATE BUT EVERYONE WANTS TO MUCH FOR THE CONVERSION, I CAN DO IT MYSELF NO PROBS. UNLESS SOMEONE KNOWS SOMEONE OR SOMEWHERE THAT HAS A MANUAL CONVERSION TO SUIT MY CAR FOR A DECENT PRICE.....

get in touch with Mitch_g(?) he had a hi stall in his v8 Fairmont ghia, sold it when he did his manial conversion. he will know where in syd to get one

I can get them at work .... with the lock up in it .. just need to order it in, and it will be at the auto and diff shop in no time ..
I put one in my NL, if you push it, you can get too 3000rpm Laticia .
