What do you use to remove these bolts? I believe the trans is leaking from there.

My 98 EL has normal bolts, but my 98 AU has the star shaped ones. I'll have to buy a single was hoping someone knew the size.

just buy a cheap set you will need them....

my au airbag uses a strange 5 pointed hex that was hard to track down, $40 for a single from Fraud or $26 for a cheap set once found...

oddly enough they went back to normal 6 pointed torx later on, onya ford.

They are actually called torx not torques lol, I thought I spelt it wrong, and dont buy a cheap set if your planning on using them more than once because I did and like any cheap tool they f**k up but I took em back and got my money back

A full set of Torx drivers are only around $45 from bunnings and the like. I have Kingchrome ones.
They will be something you use often driving a late ford.
