I've got an EF GLi and I've fitted it with a complete steering column from an EL Fairmont Ghia, and now for some reason the steering wheel is at like a 45ยบ angle, could the clock spring need rotating? Cheers, Gab

Have you got all the splines lined up correctly at the column shaft and the rack pinion shaft???
They only go on one way.
The steering wheel has a square drive....so it can only be 90* out.
