I'll need to take some photos, but anyway - i had kingspring superlows and koni sport shocks fitted 6 months ago. the front is great but the rear is still more than an inch from tyre to arch.

ive seen alot of lowered EA-ED which look great, hoping to get the a*** of mine down another inch.

Is this something that can be done without going to ultralows?

The easiest way i found is to put a big sub box in the boot, get big sound and lower your a** end

What is it like with a full tank of fuel?

Dont forget that the back will rise and fall with varying fuel loads.

Personally I've had problems with King springs so on my Fairmont Ghia I got Lovells and the car is nice and even all round.

First thing I'd do is check that they are in fact superlows. Jack the car up and look at the part number printed on the springs, it should be KFRL27-SL.
If there is no SL on the part number they are lows.
I have superlows in mine and the rear is level with the front.

i had the exact same prob with my king spring superlows, i fixed it by cutting off a coil on each with a angle grinder and cutting disc.

yeah, thats what sortof prompted me, i had one of the back wheels off the otherday and saw the code, thought id check it to make sure. off the top of my head i cant remember it in detail, but at the time i matched it up with a kingsprings catalogue as superlows

Have an at-fault accident and its quite possible your insurance will cut off any financial aid due to performing an illegal (and dangerous) modification.

Go to a spring manufacturer ... they can take your current springs out and reset them professionally (under extreme pressure and heating) ... they can only adjust them a certain amount though.

Much better than cutting a coil (extremely dangerous and illegal).
