need to know if a 5speed out of a el 5l will drop in to my auto eb 5l bloody thing only shifts to 3rd then stops but will only go to 1st if i select it my self

i have a 5L v8 el falcon 5speed and need to know if i can install the transmission into my v8 eb falcon because the auto is only selecting 3rd gear and will only go though 1st, 2nd, then 3rd if i manually select them but it never goes into 4th
|

Yeah it will fit but the ECU wont be right.
I will exchange the 5 speed for a good running auto and some cash if your keen?

cant really want a real box in it so a new ecu will be needed .... will the one outta the el fit

No it wont. The pins on the plug are different.

ive been told my auto isn't broken it's just stuck in limp mode cause my speedo aint workin either im kinder shattured as my wrx is defected
