Are EA and EB2 tailshafts the same length?

If I change the diff end of the EA tailshaft to suit the EB2 diff will it be the right length?

Ive got an EA with a tremec box so I cant just swap tailshafts I dont think (I havent checked the slip yoke yet.) I want to fit up an EB2 diff with a lockrite locker.

Thanks,
Dan

The EA has a yoke on the diff and the EB have a flange, The EB shaft wont fit the EA diff.

Yes I know this, which is I why I asked what I did.

I didnt ask if the EB tailshaft will fit my EA diff.

I asked if I swapped the end of the EB shaft onto the EA shaft then would it (the EA shaft with the EB flange) be the right length to mate up to the EB diff.
