Hey guys,
My diff in my ebII is a bit noisy and loose. Some mates suggested putting thicker oil in it. Its non lsd btw. What weight oil would you guys reccommend? Cheers

Dont know about wieght, but you should only stick in the recommended oil for that diff. I asked a diff specialist the same thing.

all bw/btr 78's should be 80w90. if its worn out, put an lsd in

I use Penrite 140 LSD oil in my diff, works good.

I just put 85-140 hypoid gear oil in my diff. Made a huge difference. Heaps less slack in the driveline! ANyone with a crappy loose diff should do the same! Costs $20 and works great!!
