It's whirring cos its almost f**k. The one on my xf whirred for ages before it s**t itself completely though :lol: Sounds like it might be a blessing in disguise in your case :wink:

Yes your pump is on its way out. Your veins are prolly that old and worn its trying to tell you something.

As for your o-ring, dont do it up so tight, ive been building them for near 2 years now, and not one has come back for that issue.

But you sound like you know how to do them, so I wont offer to sell ya one, unless ya want to buy one lol.


Check the valve behind the spring, that will be your blockage, and your whirring will be veins or cam ring., possibly upper thrush plate but thats unlikely.

One last thing, everytime u re-kitted your pump, have you PROPERLY flushed out the hoses and rack?? Thats a must when changing pump, or rack.

Lol, well if that control valve is the only oring you keep blowin out, I have about 200 of the buggers lying around from other jobs, I can post some out to you if you wish, save you buyin a full kit each time???

As for the flushing, if there is always s**t on the valve, its that, that keeps on screwin the ring....
