well to start the car is ef xr8 4 sp auto
problem- car has been dropping out of gear at low revs and hiting a false neutral position. oil is leaking from around the bell housing area ono the left cat converter. trans fluid level is fine.

is thetorque conveter seal or the converter itself rooted?

can you take a picture to show what you mean and where its leaking from sounds like its just a torque converter seal on the input to the oil pump?
