Hi Guys,

I was wondering if anyone had a suggestion of where to source a Tranny cooler from? I was looking to get one of my BA and Nicco was looking at getting one if they were cheap enuf...

Is there a Falcon specific cooler? or just free for all just limited but sizing?

I'm also looking to get/Build my own shift kit... but Nick was telling me that it can cause driveline and Diff damage... is that true?

Any help would be great...

Cheers

Josh & poofter boy (Nicco)

I had Ford install a genuine cooler in my BA. Very neat install, is a long wide cooler that goes right across the front of the radiator and around 100mm high.

Cost was $312 including topping up the tranny fluid.

You can buy universal PWR kits which do fit falcons. I recently did my AU and the cooler was quite big (around 280 x 300mm from memory) and the kit came with all the parts required.

I'm not a particularly handy person, but I did manage to do it myself. Took roughly 2 hours, but should have been a fair bit quicker!
