I have been offered a set of Svo 16 inch rims at a good price, was wondering if anyone knows the 16 inch tyre size for e series ( mine is a NF). i guess that the standard XR rims had the tytre size i am after. Also has anyone gone wider than standard. I have 235 45 17 on my gt rims so it would be good to get some around that width on the 16's. brand/cost recomendation?

225/50R16 are standard on EF-EL XR's

i've got toyo Proxes T1-S on the back of my sprint, sticky as hell, and they wear reasonably well

the T1-S's have a good reputation for being a very sticky street tyre, but they've been superceded by the T1-R

no idea on price, but i reckon they're worth it

probably in the 30's, although you wouldnt want to use a 30 profile tyre on a 16" rim on a falcon unless it was f*****g wide....
