Hey guys might be opening a can 'o' worms here, but I've had a real bad problem with the NF following every little rut in the road, not just a bit but even passengers have commented!
Have been to many suspension places and had no luck - at least they didn't hit me up for camber kits or other gear, but last week I had to change tyres and now the Lane is Gold - steering is fantastic - ruts what ruts? shows you the difference between a set of cheap asian tyres and an expensive set of 245/40/18's Pirelli Rosso's. But the problem was the Pirelli's now I have a set of Mayrun 235/40/18's wtf! as Pauline Hanson said - "please explain" from $1300 a set tyres to $360 a set and the car is like new!

Pirelli Rosso's were probably harder compound. Never heard of Mayrun, but they are probably soft and may wear out sooner. Softer will sometimes run much more smoothly compared to the harder compound...obviously. In saying that, deflating harder compound 1 or 2 PSI makes a bit of a difference.

Yeah Phongus I've never heard of 'em either but times are tough, Ash they were on the car for nearly three years and the did seem quite square, they came off a new A6 Audi (brand new though)

you might find as the new tyres start wear the problem might return???

I bought the car with Nexen's on it but they were pretty bald so I bought a set of cheapies with the style of tread the is just like big V's right round them, but they were crook, got hold of those Pirelli's, and it seemed crook still but I do think it got worse as they wore down.

I have only used chinese tyres once and were s**t.
Nexens were barely better, same with Bob Jane tyres. Currently have 235/255 REO5A and they are fantastic, f**k expensive though.

Yeah I had Pirelli 7000s and they track pretty bad. But they grip on the track very well!

I use Bridgestone Eagers SF340.....235/60R15.....no tram-traking.

I've use some Sailin tyres..or something like that.Switch to Continental ContiSportContact3 245/40/R17 and it was a massive different,no tramlining as such,great in the wet and dry and long as it has warmed up a little.Problem is that it's fairly exxy but hey it's the only thing that touches the road really.

ive got 'ovation' tyres on my BA
great tires $150 per tire for 18s (unsure about width etc.) Great in the wet and dry, you can still hammer about and hold traction in pouring rain
