Anyone know much about Ultima Shockers?
I've seen these on ebay a fair bit but unsure of their quality.....

I have Ultima fronts in my lowered EL Falcon. Very happy with them, quite comfortable for a lowered car IMO. Also they come with all new bolts n mounting things.

I have them in my car now but the shortened type. I did have problems with the shortened heavy duty rears squeeking, after 3 sets doing the same thing they replaced them with Boge shortened rears shocks. Over all the ultimas handle and feel great but the squeek i couldnt handle. The Boges arent as firm.

Another happy Ultima Customer here.

I have the shortened heavy duty shocks in the rear with the king super lows, and they are great.

have had the shorter ones in the front of mine for 12 months with kings super lows with no problems, best part is if you get them from the rite supplier they come with bump stops in the box at no extra charge but some suppliers take them out and charge extra if you want them.

I jsut had a set of the Heavy Duty shocks put in the rear on the ute ... as the stock Ford items finally died at 236,000km.

The Ultima shocks were about 1.5 times the thickness in the body ... and trying tp pump them up before fitting was hard ... they are stiff.

They make my front Pedders Sports Ryders feel like old soft shocks.

And for the price ... i am impressed ... will see how it handles the load now for work.
