hi

how do you remove a valve body on a btr auto ea-au.

is there pins or springs to watch out for that might fall out

when removing and reinstalling solenoids is there anything to watch out that might pop out

is there pictures on how to do it

disconnect the shift lever

Undo the "tamper proof" bolts(sometimes called "torque"bolts0 that hold it in. You will need a special tool, available from any good auto shop. There are two lengths. put them back in the right holes.

No.

If you are replacing the S5 solenoid, do not completely remove the valve body. You can remove most of the screws leave one or two in but almost out, tilt the valve body and remove the solenoid.
You can use a BF solenoid, but the holding clamp needs to be modified slightly

I bought an old tranny for $30 and practiced on that first.
