Do the EL Ghia's definately all come with the variable assist steering rack?

Has anyone fitted one of these to a Gli? Do they mount up the same and will I need different steering rods or uni joints or anything?
Any other experiences changing rack's, I can get access to a hoist, how much work is it to change?

I will use my datalogger/ controller to control the variable assist solenoid.

Thanks.

Im assuming you're talking about the Speed Sensitive Steering, and as far as I know all EL Ghias came with it. And they should mount up exactly same from memory.

Cheers
