Anyone have any idea how heavy an LSD diff would weigh?

I need to send mine back to Melbourne from up in NSW for a warranty repair.
I'm scared of how much it will cost!

EL XR8/Dave looks pretty f**k when he carries one on his own.
I reckon more like 80kgs for a disc to disc.

Yea I was thinking around 70-80 kegs...thats gonna hurt the pocket methinks...

get it weighted and get a quote from TNT or a little s**t company they are pretty cheap the little papa and mama ones

yeh Im thinking bout 70kg too. I almost dropped my diff on my foot when trying to pull it out of my boot....

Well, I pulled it out this morning, and weighed it minus fluid and axle shafts. Approx 40 kegs.

Went down to TNT and spoke to them...was going to cost $112 to send. Then I found out the company I work for has an account with them, so I got another quote with the account number.

$40! Score! So I'm happy!
