I think XR8Chic drives an EB or ED XR8 or soemthing, so unless she's got an EF or EL on the sideline for a project, don't think it waws her.

i would think the benifit would be if you put all the front end suspension in like k frame and s contro arms and spindles you would have the benifit of the au offset and being able to have au big brake setup as well which means no adaptors and not modified or expensive elgt spindles?

my thoughts. :)

How do you figure that? You'll just be removing the EF parts to swap with the AU ones, shouldn't be much of a weight difference between the two set ups

yeah not sure on the hole thing i was just wondering if it is possible

i would think all the control arms would be a little longer to change the off set, but not sure if it is all the same mounting if the parts would bolt up the same

lol of course u take the ef stuff off. i figure au suspension would be heavier because its a bigger car. probably not all that heavy come to think of it.

mm im a dumb a***. when i got the calipers for free i could have got the struts and uprights as well for nix and compared them. i recon it can be done i just need to beg/borrow/steal the parts to see how/if thay are diffrant. i recon its in the arms/hub i think the uprights and struts are the same

G'day

If you put au stuff in the front to gain the offset change, what happens at the back? Are you gona put an au diff in or try an irs conversion?

Theres plently of stuff out there from various companies in the way of aftermarket upgrades, i would've thought it be easier to stick witht he el stuff. Thats just my 2 cents worth.

Cheers
