basically both rear wheels are fused together with a mini spool, so when you do that U turn, the wheels turn at the same time, therefore one wheel skips, whereas the other one turns normally.

I have driven my mates R31 skyline which has a minispool in it for the last 3 years, and I dont find it an issue to drive at all. Doing U-turns isnt bad, just a little shudery, carparking is easy too, just like parking a single peeler. I guess what people dont think about is the size of the rim they have on the back, low profile wide a*** rims will snap axels and give you an even bumpier ride however if you are driving on 15" rims with say 205's it is not an issue, also makes the ride a little nicer when take corners due to tyre wall flex.

Anywho just my thoughts on the minispool!

hmmm i thought so. i guess a single spinner or a normal LSD makes turning much easier. cheers
