Hi all been searching the net for a while an can't find a definite answer. Just wanting to know if a mustang T5 input shaft will fit a Eseries I6 box? Wanting to put it behind my EL XR8. There are a few on eBay ATM an getting a V8 box in SA for under $1000 is proving to be a task lol so thought i would try a different route. cheers

I think you will need to find out what the a*** is inside your box, as well as if you can find out how many teeth are on the input gear. There are so many variations of the "T5" box it's not funny.
There's no way in hell I'd let a v8 manual box in good shape go for under $1000 either. I've got 2 manual Eb Xr8's here. Way too hard to get ahold of, and I believe the bellhousing & input shaft isn't the only difference between the 6cyl & v8 boxes. Otherwise, maybe dellow could help? I believe they make a bellhousing & what not to fit a 6cyl T5 behind a v8. Cheers ToranaGuy

I have everything besides the box, would be good if someone could tell me the exact measurements of a Eseries V8 input shaft?

Does anyone out there have a box that can easily be pulled apart? Both mine are in their respective car's, not pulling them out any time soon.

Perth, but they do an upgraded T5 a*** to suit.
