Just trying to find out which wire going into the gear box (the colour) controls teh solonoid that shifts from 1st into 2nd gear?

would be inteterested in the colours for the other gears too.

car is a 1996 EL 4.0 - 93LE

Internally they are:
S1 Red
S2 Blue
S3 Yellow
S4 Black
S5 Green x 2
S6 Black
S7 Violet.

Externally the pins 1 - 7 on the plug correspond to the solenoid number. Pin 8 is the 12v for S5
and 9 and 10 are the Temp sensor. Looking externally at the connector on the box the pins read like a book with the first row being the two pin row.
