Have an xf ute and am doing a conversion from carbi to an efi from an eb falcon. was wondering if the t5 in the xf will bolt straight onto the eb engine

pretty much everything it the same except pedal box, bell housing and ECU thats it after eb they went to a 6 bolt clutch instead of the xe,xf,ea 3 bolt clutch

I'm not sure how true it is but I was told you need a manual EA/EL bell housing for a XF box to bolt up to an EB engine (starter motors on different sides of the engine bay ?) and that the XF flywheel & clutch are different to E series stuff too ?

donor car is an auto so will i have to find a manual ecu too or will it run with auto one? and am i gonna need a new clutch and flywheel too coz the clutch and flywheel that is in now is brand new

you will need a EA onwards flywheel as the bolt holes are different to the crank BUT you can use the same clutch

Bellhousing IS different. EA-L Bellhousing is needed to fit it onto a SOHC motor.
