HI PEPS
need some help im fitting an eb motor to my xg ute ,motor is in all lined up even bolt holes but auto from xg will not mate up gap is no more than 2cm is there any differents between the xg and eb auto boxes ?? cheers Steve |

have you got the torque converter lined up properly? [seated in front pump properly]

They r both autos so that bit sorted
I left the torque converter bolted to the motor |

1blakute wrote: They r both autos so that bit sorted I left the torque converter bolted to the motor then it's as per moi 1st answer - converter must be lined up properly with the front pump in gearbox. priick of a job with these fords coz of the solid flex plate [linning up converter bolt holes], i cheated & paid someone else to fit the box
