like to know if there was a different in the drive train between toe 302 and 351 models

The 302's had a C4 auto with a option of a 2 pinion Borg Warner LSD, where as the 351 had the FMX & a 4 pinion Borg Warner LSD as standard.....

If the FMX was playing up towards the end of warranty or just out ( original owner ), they would replace it with a C10F. The BW diff (351 fitted ) was also a 28 spline axle jobbie.
Also fitted with rear disc brakes on the 351's, drums on 302's.
