as in operating system.

Depends on what you actually want from it. there are many options, but most will be useless for your needs.

So post up what you need, then your question can be answered.

For everyday, boot up and use, simple and well supported, s**t offers the best supported.

If you enjoy rebuilding Kernels all the time but want functionality you can control, Linux based stuff is for you. If you want to be a wanna be fanboy, and I know this one is for you, Apple is the choice of those who feel rebelious but still want to conform.

plenty more options out there to be had as well.
