For those interested, we are + 5,000,000 points and going strong. There will be a NEW SMP client coming soon, version 7 and of course, there is the current GPU client that was updated last month, version 6.32.
Maybe some of you guys might like to add a bit of CPU or GPU time to the effort? :)

If they have proper support for the hyper threaded i7 then i'll get back into it.

Well, i7's are able to run the SMP client with BIG Advantage bonus because 4 cores/8 threads.
The SMP is a NEW one and soon will be upgraded to a NEWER and more intense version, take a look here and I am sure it will explain better, http://foldingforum.org/viewtopic.php?t=10697

And, this is a good thread on how to set up the SMP client for multi core CPU's http://www.overclock.net/folding-home-g ... lient.html

Depends on which unit and what client you are running. Are you also running a GPU client? they get very good points and complete much quicker. The SMP client takes a little longer to finish WU's but if you are using an i7 or i5 you get better results, you can alo change your priority in windows to complete WU's a little faster.

I use the SMP client one only and as Papa Smurf said depends on the WU being done but seems do it within 24 hours.

It might be a good idea as well to get a PASS KEY for folding. It doesn't cost anything but your time and it helps with better points and also stops others from using your user name. :)

Have a read and then get one. http://folding.stanford.edu/English/FAQ-passkey

Yes have been using a PASS KEY since April this year

Still amazed at how well mine does since the CPU is an AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+ and the current WU is about 96% done at posting and started I think early this morning or late last night

I am running an A3 gromacs core WU and when finished it will have taken 20 hours to complete.
Still good what you have done and it is great that you are folding for a cause. :)
