Hey guys, fairly new here...learnt a hell of a lot already. After looking over a few Ford orientated forums this has to be the most friendly i've come across.

So anyway, last week i purchased a 1996 EF Fairmont for $2,900. It came with kings (Not sure what height), XR wheels, XR steering wheel, XR air-intake and a nice tint. There are a few minor problems such as; tappet ticking, rear electric window motor is rooted, few paint chips here and there, front indicator lens missing and passenger mirror has fallen out. Nothing that can't be taken care of :D.

My future plans are XR head, extractors, exhaust and possibly in the future Raptor Supercharger. The engine has 270,000 km's (was driven to Sydney every weekend) so when it goes I'll most likely be sourcing an XR engine.

Pics:

The rear window is taped up due to pulling it all apart to replace the power window motor...went to wreckers and they closed an hour early so never got to finish it :x. Also dirty as hell, my friend cleaned his car spraying crap all over mine :lol:.

Could you please reduce the image size before loading...took ages to load at work. They are huge :shock:...just makes it easier for everyone :D.

Looks like you got some work to do, good buy and happy modding :D.

I wouldn't get an XR head unless putting an aftermarket camshaft in it...just my 2c

phong =P~

Will do, they didn't look that big to me :o.

Still undecided on the head though, will have to see what happens.
