Guys/girls

I am looking to change the 2.75 gears in my 9" LSD for a 3.5 or 3.7. My question is are all 9" carriers and housings the same dimensions??? If so can I just get a new pinion and main gear and bolt em in, obviously setting clearance etc ????

Eg on our E-series beasts, a 3.45 will fit on a 3.23 carrier, but not a 3.08.

im 90% sure they will fit into any carrier, i put a set of 4.11's on an original 2.75 carrier before.
