Been looking at underdrives from 94-95 and 79-93 mustangs. Ive been told the 94-95 is compatible with EB-EL but it doesnt seem right in pictures.

These are 79-93

And these are recent forum sold BPT pulleys.

Look at the centres and bolt holes how they are very different.

Who has bought pulleys from the states that bolted straight up with no modification?

Those BPT pullets are the same as I bought. I had to get the water pump pulley machined to fit, but a decent machininst will fix them up in no time at all!
here's a few pic's of mine in the build thread

This has been covered several times over the forums.

The first ones (79-93 Mustang) are completely wrong.

The second ones (94-95 Mustang) are the right ones to suit our falcons. However need slight mods.

The 3rd ones ARENT BPT ones, they are Ford Racing or Trickflow ones that have been modified to suit.
You can see the holes on the water pump pulley have been elongated. This is the WRONG way to so it. You should just drill a new 4-hole PCD in between the other holes. This mod needs doing to all pulleys bouht from the states to suit 94-95 mustangs. IIRC the ID of the centre bore needs taking out a bit too.
The crank pulley, on the ones i bought, just needed the ID of te centre bore taken out 1mm. Im assuming this is required on all 94-95 mustang kits.
The alternator pulley needed the biggest mods. It need cutting back/recessing in the back side to get it to sit into the alternator, then the front recessed in so the nut can get a decent grab of the threads.

The BPT kits will bolt straight on as all they are is american sourced BBK 94-95 kits which they have done the mods to suit in house before they are sold. BPT do these mods properly, they dont just elongate the holes out etc.

IMO, if you know a machinist its cheaper to source them yourself from the states and get them modified.
