The sound your hearing is NOT "dosing". Dosing is caused by not having a BOV and the air coming back through the turbo getting "chopped up" by the compressor, giving a tuuu tuu tu tu noise..

I am getting a "tuuu tuu tu" noise, albeit far more subdued. From what I know, and that isn't much, the BOV only blows off so much, what's left flows back through the turbo, hence the flutter/dose noise.

But isnt that air flowing back thru the turbos really really bad?
becuase its the turbine blades chopping the air and ive heard that kills turbos

I did ask simon at nizpro bout this very issue tho and he said thats a s**t myth

You can't stop it happening, the BOV simply cannot get rid of all the excess boost. Bar an F6 air box, mine is completely stock and it flutters, however since putting the new air box in, I've noticed it's a lot louder and now flutters at low boost.

Check the vacuum hose off the bov that goes to your inlet. It sometimes can be loose and will leak. This causes the bov to stay shut on low rev low boost and will not vent giving you the flutter you hear.

If you don't want it to flutter make sure the hose is clamped tight to the bov and the nipple on the inlet.

Compressor surge doesn't hurt the turbo. Its been debated for years and there is no proof of it. The most common cause of turbo death is oil starvation and improper cool down.

Dosing FTMFW!
