g'day where can i find an adjustable fuel pres reg for my ED XR6?

these motors normally run better when leaned of a touch yeah? at the moment it spews raw fuel from the exhaust.
i'd like to install one and get it dyno tuned.

Blackwood dyno use to do them but not sure if it was a direct replacement unit or if it was like the ones available on ebay which just go inline. To reduce fp with these you have to remove or block the factory reg somehow. It is also debatable if you can actually lean out the engien by reducing the fp because the EEC actually recognises this and increases injector pulse width to compensate. It will have some benefit at WOT but won't totally solve the rich problem, you need a chip/edit to do that.

If it's running that rich out the exhaust it sounds like you have a problem somewhere - ie:
Vac leak
Internal fuel leak in regulator (fuel going to engine thru vac hose).
Faulty MAP sensor (or leak in the vac line to it).
Faulty O2 sensor
Faulty Eng. coolant temp sensor
Faulty Inlet Air temp sensor

You need to address the basic problem before thinking about an adjustable regulator.

If it is overly rich then yeah there is probably a problem somewhere else, but I6's are notorious for running rich even striaght from the factory. THis gets worse with most aftermarket cams because of the MAP system they run.
