Hi!

Was talking to a mate last night about painting brake callipers on my fairmont. Do I need special heat resitant paint? Or will any old paint do?

I don't want to use the wrong paint and then my callipers start to peel cos of the heat generated by the brakes.

Thanks!

they are actually the other way around stupidly!! lol

they tickford logo is inverted into the caliper face by about 0.5mm - not much at all!

Could probably press blue tack or wax into the indentations, then paint over it, that might work

Would be easier to just paint the whole tihng then fill the slight indentation with white paint with a detail paint brush - dont this type of stuff before and if you take your time with a good eye it will look fine, if not perfect.
Ill look into doing this next few weeks.
