It's the same as fuel injected 250's. They weren't around for long but they aren't that rare.

Also the EA and maybe EBI had a 3.3 litre engine available too, although that certainly won't become a desirable thing to own one day..

The 3V is a nice engine though, enjoy 8-)

Have you thought that there are so few around is because thats all that Ford had available at the time and no one wanted to option one, which is why they lasted such a short time in BA/BF models.

If they were that good, people would have been lining up to buy them. But at a $5k option, it would have turned most people off.

On that theory, it makes my Force 6 one of the best cars ever produced, cos they are only 65 of them. But I really know its because of piss poor marketing and a high price that there are so few.

How about a Phase 3 or 4?

Down the local wreckers there's heaps of them for sale..
I was tempted to build a light weight Ford with BIG turbo with a shed full off spare
3V v8's.. But I went superlight with Lexus V8, RA28 Celica...
The bottom end should be tuff as!! Being they are the same as Boss...
NO I don't think esp if new V8 which IMO is close to the specs of BMW's V8...

Btw the small SOHC engine in early E series was 3.2 Ltr...

4.1 & 3.3 where just tags from when we went metric. The 250 & 200 started life in XY'S & they went metric in XC & became 4.1 & 3.3 same as 302 & 351 Became 4.9 & 5.8. That's enough History.
Regards TPVM.

Which wrecker is that? I would like some spare parts for my very common 3V manual with LSD.

there's a very small cult following in the 3 v 5.4 with its great engine v8 note and also the strong low downtorque..
