I've just recently purchased an EF XR8 with 160k on the clock.

I am open for suggestions for mods that will push my power output

up to about 220kw.

I currently have on order a J3 performance chip and a Edelbrock RPM Performer II Intake.


What do you think?

220 up front

Fit an AU3 XR8 Tickford 220kW long engine with your E-series accessories. Add a set of headers that suit the GT40P heads in your chassis and a 70mm MAF. Sell your old engine (before you take it out so it can be test driven) and the Explorer intake from the XR8 engine to cover some costs. If you haven't already bought the Edelbrock intake you can save a bunch of cash by using the Explorer intake that comes with the XR8 engine. It will achieve the power level you want.
