Hey aLL.. Attempting to repLace a vacuum advance unit on a Bosch eLectronic distributor fitted to a 302 cLeveLand, cant figure out how to get to arm to remove cLip..
Not as straight forward a job as anticipated with previous changes done with points equipped distributors.. Any info appreciated, Thankyou...

possible have to remove roll pin in cam drive extract pick up coil three screws remove circlip and replace

Hey thanks for that.. I came across a Gregory V8 XD manuaL I had tucked away, was as easy as unscrewing 2 screws that secure vacuum cannister to distributor housing and twisting it anti-clockwise and rod unhooks itself from pin allowing vacuum unit to be drawn out. RepLacement a bit fiddLey but job done successfuLLy.. I see your ride is an XE, any pics? pics of mine in my gaLLery.. Cheers man

no pics yet have to take some and download xe running injected 5ltr manuel conversion full au interior including dash xf front ba power bulge trying to find xg xr6 headlights to finish how do put pics on screen

Hey your XE sounds OK, Did a 5L EFI/4sp auto conversion to an XG ute a whiLe back.. To put pics up you need to Log on then go members gallery. Option to load pics to gallery top left. Cheers...
